DESCRIPTION:City Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers at 612 Front Street\, Villa Grove\, Illinois.  When a regularly-scheduled meeting falls on a City Holiday or any other date prohibited by state law (5 ILCS 120/2.01)\, the meeting is held on the following business day. \nAt this time\, no one will be permitted to attend a meeting without a face mask per COVID-19 guidelines. \nIf extra spacing is needed for members\, the meeting may be moved to the Senior Center next door (610 Front Street).  Social distancing and time limits will be strictly enforced.

DESCRIPTION:Committee of the Whole meetings are usually held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers at 612 Front Street\, Villa Grove\, Illinois.  When a regularly-scheduled meeting falls on a City Holiday or any other date prohibited by state law (5 ILCS 120/2.01)\, the meeting is held on the following business day. \nOccasionally City Council meetings (normally held on the second Monday of the month) are held rather than the Committee of the Whole meeting if there is specific action needing a vote that cannot wait until the second Monday of the following month.  Doing this allows the Council to avoid the need for a Special Council meeting which results in additional payroll expense. \nAt this time\, no one will be permitted to attend a meeting without a face mask per COVID-19 guidelines. \nIf extra spacing is needed for members\, the meeting may be moved to the Senior Center next door (610 Front Street).  Social distancing and time limits will be strictly enforced.
